Redevelopment of a former 33 hectare colliery site situated in rural Nottinghamshire commenced on site in late September 2014.

The site has been brought forward for development by the Homes & Communities Agency following a successful developer competition undertaken last year.

Barratt David Wilson are undertaking redevelopment of the site to provide 450 much needed new dwellings along with over 12,000 sq.m. of employment space. Barratt David Wilson working with Wilson Bowden will also be undertaking the redevelopment of Cotgrave town centre in order to provide a high quality range of retail and community facilities to better service the town and new development.

Rachel Lister from Thomas Lister said “I am absolutely delighted to see at last works commencing on this important regeneration project after being appointed in 2009 to assemble a team in order to progress the project from concept stage”.
